Double excitement in Cortina d’Ampezzo Tomorrow two Alpine Combined races

Cortina d’Ampezzo (BL), 14 February 2021 (MOREL)– Four runs on the same day to assign the titles of the alpine combined. The second week of the Alpine World Ski Championships opens with the two races that should have inaugurated Cortina 2021. Super-G in the morning and slalom in the afternoon.  The sum of the two times will decide the winners. Both races will take place on the Olympia delle Tofane, which for years has hosted a stage of the women’s World Cup.

Double excitement in Cortina d’Ampezzo tomorrow, Monday 15 February.  At 9.45 and at 14.10 the two runs of the women’s race will take place. At 11.15 and at 15.20 the men’s races. The Swiss Loic Meillard will wear bib number 1 in the men’s super-G, number 5 for the Åre gold-medallist Alexis Pinturault, 9 Victor Muffat-Jeandet, 12 Luca Aerni (winner in St. Moritz in 2017, a hundredth ahead of Marcel Hirscher), 14 Marco Schwarz, bronze two years ago, and great protagonist of the slalom season.
